March 21, 2018 - There will be a price increase of 5-6% on all Lycoming Pistons and will go into effect on April 15, 2018. The last increase was in 2015 and this one is due mostly to higher aluminum prices. The price of aluminum has been steadily increasing for the past 2 years. Hopefully it will be a while before the next increase. Thank you for your business!
May 1, 2017 - Part number ASC11487 - our 10:1 piston for angle valve Lycoming has been revised to Revision D and is now 200 grams lighter. Revision C is being replaced by Revision D and will no longer be available.

This piston is 215 grams lighter! and - ASC15157 - a light weight version of ASC15357F. This piston is 170 grams lighter! and we added a Continental piston to our product line - a 9:1 version for O-520 series engines ASC631009. This piston is substantially lighter than the OEM version! We also added the Piston Spec Table to help customers find the right piston for their application!
July 30, 2015 - There will be a price increase effective August 1, 2015 on ASC75089F both standards and P10s. The increase in our costs over the past year have been daunting - especially health insurance (Thanks to the Unaffordable Health Care Act)! Thank you again for your support!
June 19, 2014 - There will be a price increase effective August 1, 2014 on ASC75413F, ASC75089 F and ASC15357 F both standards and P10s. The increase on ASC75089 F will be modest, but ASC75413 F and ASC15357 F will increase substantially. There are higher costs in keeping slow moving parts on the shelf and the substantial price increases reflect that. Thank you again for your support!
January 30, 2013 - Prices will increase on all Lycoming Pistons 2 - 3 % and will be effective March 1, 2013. The website will be updated with the new pricing on March 1st. It has been 2 years since our last price increase and we are continually working to keep prices in check. Regretfully though - the dollar is not increasing in value! It is our hope that our customers will continue to find great value in our products. Thanks again.
August 6, 2012 - Sorry for the price increase on ring sets purchased with pistons, but we made a mistake - when we increased the ring set prices we did not increase the prices when purchased with pistons. There is still a $2 price break if the ring sets are purchased with pistons. Please keep in mind that there is a price increase pending and will most likely go into effect the end of this year.
August 6, 2012 - Lighter versions of ASC9521F and ASC1021F are now available in Standard bore size (P10 will be available in the near future). The new part numbers are ASC9521FL and ASC1021FL. They are available with and without ring sets. The new lighter versions are approximately 90 grams lighter than the original versions and are now listed on this site for purchase.
February 15, 2012 - Check out Dan Marcotte -http://www.danmarcotteairshows.com/ - Dan has been running Combustion Technologies pistons for the past couple of years and we are supporting his efforts again this year! Good Luck this year Dan.
February 15, 2012 - New forging design for 9.5:1 and 10:1 compression pistons - A new forging was designed and samples approved for production that will be utilized for future production of 9.5:1 and 10:1 pistons. This new forging will reduce the finished weight of the pistons by approx 100 grams! There is also the possibility of higher compression ratios in the future. This web page will be updated when the new pistons are available.
February 15, 2012 - Price increase implemented on Lycoming Piston Rings - $5.00 increase on all Lycoming Piston Ring sets. There is also a price increase planned for Lycoming Pistons in the coming months. The increase will be in the 2 - 3 % range. It is always our goal to provide quality parts at reasonable prices, but some things are beyond our control. Thanks again for the business!
February 2, 2011 - Prices will increase on all Lycoming Pistons 4 - 5 % and will be effective March 1, 2011. The website will be updated with the new pricing on March 1st. It has been more than 2 years since our last price increase on Lycoming Pistons and regretfully, it is time again to yield to economic reality! Hopefully this will not be necessary for quite a while. Thank you all for your continued patronage.
